A Historic Inn Comes Back to Life
Located next to Humboldt Bay in Fields Landing, just south of Eureka, the newly opened Boathouse Bar & Grill offers patrons food, drink and fun. The Bar & Grill took over the historic Whaler’s Inn building, built in 1846 and once one of Humboldt County’s most famous landmarks. The building has been carefully restored to its former glory with beautiful redwood woodwork and unique touches including a redwood boat-shaped bar. Right off Hwy 101, the location is easily accessible.
Boathouse Bar & Grill is a family-friendly restaurant, with a broad menu of appetizers, main course entrées, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and housemade Clam Chowder and soups. They have daily specials and serve only the finest Black Angus beef. The Bar & Grill offers 20 beers on top and a full bar, so ask for your favorite specialty cocktail. There are two pool tables, a jukebox and six TVs with lots of sports channels showing all your favorite sporting events. You can even grab a cool one while you wait for your order to go.
